Young Architects/Engineering with Kids in Design

The program teaches children the fundamental concepts in architecture, urban planning, and engineering. Young Architects build, design, and present their own projects in every class. The open-ended approach connects architecture and urban design to other disciplines and introduces children to such different subjects as math, geometry, design, climate, history, as well as a variety of cultural and social issues. The class fosters the ability to recognize complex patterns and creatively solve challenging problems.
